I was sensing that we could use one of our Wisdom for Staying Centered & Sustained in Intense Times conversations just about now .. there are explorations where we take a step 'between the worlds', open up our intuitive illuminator wise being eyes, remember we have the power of the creatrix within us to create reality for ourselves, those we influence and this world, and tune into the wisdom to give us insight and practices forward.

Our centerpoint for this exploration is : Reactor Emoter - Rooted Responder - Revolutionary Evolutionary, which one are you? How can you work with these 3 energies to move through these times... stay balanced, feel empowered, play your part and care for your wellbeing?   

In this episode, I'll share some wisdom perspectives and practices that you can chew on, contemplate and integrate into your reality. 

Some of what we'll work with in this episode are:

  • What if Humanity is actually evolving? 
  • How is the Macro showing up in my Micro? 
  • Do we need to have something to fight in order to evolve?
  • Deep Time & where are we in it? 
  • What are we giving our energy and power to, really?

 Are you clearing your emotional and energetic fields - consistently? What do you do when you get "gooped" by the world, a person, the news, the physical and virtual environments you find yourself in, or even by your own emotional triggers?

"Gooped" is my partner Noah and my term for what happens to us when we get emotionally, mentally, energetically, and physically weighed down, swirled up, affected by external forces.

In the times we live in, it's really wise to ask yourself: What am I doing to keep my energy clear?Are my energetic and emotional boundaries strong? How do I know when they are weak? And how do I strengthen them.

For this conversation, I brought on Noah Martin, my partner in life, love and business because he's super wise in these realms we will explore:

  • What it means to be “gooped”.
  • How to know when you are gooped up?
  • How does it happen?
  • What do you do in the moment or as prevention to keep the external forces from knocking you off kilter?

Consider this: This energetic, emotional and mental "gooping" is often invisible to our eyes - we don't see it, but DO we feel it? But if you don't know the signs that you've been de-harmonized or 'affected' with interference, you get pulled down and swirled around and cannot operate as your wisest and most radiant self. Once you know the signs and know what to do to recenter, you gain power to stay clear and rooted even in the intensity.  

Clearing your emotional and energetic fields is a must in our world today; just like you brush your teeth and get in your daily steps. On today’s podcast, (pulled from our Wisdom Library), we’ll explore how to care for your emotional and energetic bodies by looking at:

Anger and grief are good human emotions. They have the potential to open up so much for us – individually and collectively – which can lead to healing, breaking down barriers, and breaking through to better realities.

The problem is that most humans weren't taught how to express anger or grief in healthy ways, so it comes out sideways in distorted ways, or it gets stuffed down until we blow up or get sick. Sometimes we are the receiver of that big emotional eruption and other times we are the "unleasher" or "erupter" on someone else.

This episode was originally released in July 2024 as part of our nine-part summer series, Stay Light, hosted by Christine Arylo & Jennifer Alexandar. We pulled it out of our Feminine Power Time Wisdom Library as part of our 4-part July 2025 series this year. Wisdom still so relevant for these times.    

We explore perspectives and practices around dealing with the kind of rage and grief that comes from our wounds or the wounds of others, and how to do it differently in ways that lead to wholeness, including how we can:

  • Discharge anger and grief so that it doesn't build up inside us and leak out, or erupt in distorted ways
  • Have big emotions like rage and grief about the world, about our reality, about other people's actions or choices, without them consuming us
  • Use our big emotions to heal ourselves and ignite creative action that inspires
  • Deal with other people’s misdirected rage and grief
  • Respond to the things that enrage us, in powerful ways that make the world better vs. adding to the chaos

When we find ourselves in a time of intensity over extended periods of time, wisdom says ... it's wise (and essential) to pause and consider what we need to cultivate, replenish and retain our life force (our energy) and radiance (our light).

I'm suggesting that now is such a time ... not to pull the covers over our heads, or think one vacation will wipe away the tiredness ... but also not to keep pushing forward believing there is some magic moment all will be well or our work will be done. But instead ... we choose to stay aware and awake to what's happening in our world, while at the same time pulling our focus into our own personal ecosystem and what we need to replenish, now.

Like a dusty, tired car that has been on a long journey... it actually needs more than just gas to fill up... it needs a wash, a vacum, likely some air freshner and a reprieve .... so do we.  

So here's my question... what do you need in the next several weeks or months (this  summer/winter season or next 40 days) to replenish your radiance and life force ... on all 4 realms... mind, body, heart and spirit? 

AND... what do you need to give yourself permission to take the time and space, to allocate the resources, and to pull back to 70% on some things, so you have that 30% to focus on what cultivates deeper reserves of energy. So you have the inner resources to create what's next - for yourself, those you guide and what matters to you in this world. 

This episode #268: Permission to Replenish Your Radiance, is an intentional creative process + a full permission slip to 'do' what replenishes and lifts your spirit ... nourishes and fills your heart... clears and inspires your mind ... revitalizes and soothes your body... in the next time span of your choosing. 

Consider this: When we consciously cultivate our lifeforce and radiance, we create longevity of wellbeing + the ability to dance through intensity, as a paradox and path vs. a polarity and problem to fix.

Then, instead of just spending that radiance, energy and light as soon as we fill up enough ... we choose to 'condense' it...let it stir and stew and gather up power and aliveness ... choosing to spend some not all ... so come the next season, we have the energy to rise and harvest, to create.

Tune in. Take a breath. Take a beat.

When we root into our radiance and what is real, our path and purpose naturally unfold. And we have the energy to meet the moment and play our parts, together.

In changing times, we need wisdom, insight, tools and practices to what I call "stay harmonized" - aka centered, sustained, empowered, clear, connected, calm, radiant, rooted on the inside no matter what chaos is happening on the outside.

In this episode, Harmonized: Staying Centered & Empowered in a Chaotic World, I'll take us through some key inquiries, wisdom teachings and practices you can incorporate into your daily life. 

If we can be like a strong tree with deep roots, strong trunk and branches fed by the light, we can sway with the shift vs. get swept into or blown down by the swirl.

Chaos needs our human fear, emotional commotion, righteousness, blame and seperation energy to thrive. If we stop feeding the chaos, it will loose it's power and more people will start to see what is real vs. reacting from the wound. If we stay connected, we are so much more likely to stay centered and feel empowered.    

My invitation is to use what we explore and ... 

  • open up your wise eyes... to notice the chaos machine and what it does to steal your chi,  to take you off your centered power, and to drive humans to react from fear 
  • when you feel the speed up, slow down .... use the inquiries and practices I share to "Harmonize" - re-center and tune into what you need 
  • keep yourself tuned up daily with a morning centering pratice, just like an instrument 

Here are the 4 points - and inquiries you can use daily and in the moments you get affected by the chaos - I'll lead us through:

  • Am I feeding the chaos and fear, or leaning into and running the frequency of love?
  •  Am I centered? Mind centered in stillness... Heart centered in Love ... Body centered in Breath
  • Am I feeling empowered? Am I responding from wholeness and loving truth, or reacting from the victim or dominating frequency? 
  • Am I connected? What kind of connection do I need? Self, Divine, Earth, Human (Companions of Destiny, Resonant Frequency, Affectionate Aficiadnos)

Compassion is one of the most powerful energies we have as leaders of our own lives as well as in our teams, families, organizations, communities, projects and the society we co-create. 

But compassion is also one of those things that can feel so vast that we don’t know quite how to employ it – especially in realms like business, our work projects, or in situations that trigger our own defense mechanisms and sense of safety.

One of my super powers is taking big, vast concepts like compassion and breaking them down so we can practically access and use this power in ways that elevate and influence the fields of interaction we find ourselves — within ourselves, with others, the world or a situation we find ourselves in.

Between 2010-2015 I did a deep dive into the “energy” of compassion – to understand it and break it down into what I call the 8 Facets of Compassion. I’ve been practicing and teaching these 8 facets ever since, not as a perfection to live up to, but as a practice and a strategy to come home to.

As I look around at the tools, perspectives, practices that can give us super power NOW to survive, stabilize, and elevate ourselves, and the people, projects, and systems we lead, love and influence, COMPASSION is at the top of the list.

This episode is a little longer because compassion requires us to slow down :) breath :) and get into our bodies and hearts :) Here's some of what we will explore together:

  • What compassion is and what it isn't (hint: it's not about being nice or condoning)
  • What compassion does to distorted power and leadership (stealth super power!)

As the world turns and shifts, things seem to go sideways, uncertainty rises, intensity & anxiety wratches up, how do you stay centered, calm and clear? How do you work WITH the energy vs be WORKED OVER by the energy? 

These are fundamental inquiries and practices we have been exploring and implementing here at Feminine Power Time since we started this podcast in 2016 ... because we are in transformational times, and during such times, we need access to insight, tools and wisdom to dance through.

Consider this: What if this cycle of time is about breaking free of systemic and self created patterns that no longer serve? So we can rise into realities rooted in harmony, sustainability, wholeness and connection?

And while there may be forces that would do anything to keep things the same, the force of our collective heart power has the ability to lead the way forward into a better world for people & planet? 

This is not wishful thikning or spiritual bypassing. It's co-creating the next while we stabilize in the now and heal from the past. Here's what we "do" ... 

For this last part in our series, we will shine a light on some of the "Collective" patterns playing out - we are all influenced by these because we are part of the "WE" of people living on the planet. When you can name and see these patterns, they stop having power over you, and you gain power to lead your way and others way through.

"Synchroncity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see." - Carl Jung 

I love synchroncity - it's like gold in the bank that never loses it's value, and always keeps be feeling secure and stable, no matter what. - Christine Arylo :) 

When I can see the meaningful connections happening around me and for me, my faith reserves fill, anxiety and stress release. I feel held and guided. So when  get a case of the wobbles, or things seem to be going sideways, or I feel stuck, or I am headed to despair about the state of the world, I can find the threads to pull myself back to center and lift above the fray and connect to a higher frequency.  

Consider this: In the chaos and uncertainity of our world, it can be really easy to end up with cloudy eyes that make it impossible to see (and believe) the magic. Our normal high-vibe, wise eyes which can see what is real can become glazed over or bewildered by all of the goop from the distorted mainstream world. Gooped up, our internal frequency drops into the tanker, takes us off our path, and gives our energy and chi to the chaos.

Wisdom #1: If you don't have something deeper within you, and more real holding you, insecurity is going to invade your internal ecosystem and try to take over.  

Which is exactly why we are grabbing a hold of our practical magic wisdom book, volume S, today ... S for Synchronicity and Security. 

Wisdom #2: When you can see and feel the synchronicities happening around and for you, you start to see the patterns that can lead you to new possibilities, wisdom & realitites.

When you can see possibility + feel the presence of grace + see the magic connections and occurences happening, the fluctations of the markets, the current state of world affairs, the changes out of your influence, start to hold less power over you. They still might cause a flare up, but they won't take you down. 

Synchronicity spotting and actively cultivating the environment for synchroncities to emerge are practical magic practices ... they are one way we can feel more secure in an ever shifting world. If we remember to look for them, believe in them, and actively create the ecosystems they can thrive in.

The New Moon Reset is one of those practices that if you weave it into the rhythm of your life, you won't believe how you could have ever lived without it. It's a must for those of us who choose to cultivate a centered, connected, clear presence and perspective, even within the chaos. 

During these times, we can expect the world is going to go wavy gravy ... that humans are going to horrible things to other humans and the planet ... that the changes we are going through are individually and collectively are going to stir up anxiety, fear and all the feels. 

It won't always be this way (AND we are in transitory times), and there are many other really beautiful signs that humanity is elevating, choosing love and compassion ... the mainstream news just doesn't cover those so much (which is why we create alternatives which do!) 

A question to ask ourselves is - how do we choose to walk through these times? How can we be with what is, and also keep our fierce hearts open, faced forward, our vision for what is possible alive, and our thoughts clear? How do we stay light and lifted when the world or people go low? 

A response is: we lean into, apply, and use the practices rooted in wisdom for how we as people and planet naturally work best. Not as more to do's, but as the HOW we do our daily, weekly, monthly, yearly lives and how we make our choices, big and small... so we can show up as the leaders, co creators and elevators.

There is a lot of talk & information about wellbeing, presence, mindfulness, getting good sleep, eating well and self-care ... alot of which can be good and helpful, and alot can also be overwhelming and like more to do's in an already full life.

Here at Feminine Power Time we get to the roots of wellbeing by applying wisdom to the choices we make every day ... including the practices, choices and routines that have way more influence over how we feel, how we show up,  and how others perceive and receive us than we know.

As we embark on our 8th year here at Feminine Power Time - I wanted to take a pause to bring practical application to our theme for this year: Rooting and Rising in Radiance, that enables and empowers us to actually live that theme into reality. 

It's the choices we make in our every day that determine how we feel and live throughout our days. 

Contemplate this: Which every day choices are supporting your radiance + your capacity to show up as your best self? Which are draining your radiance or driving you to react to people or situations that does not reflect your best self?  

When I say "practice" it can help to think about practices in two categories: 

  1. Proactive and Preventative: Put these into your daily, weekly and monthly rhtyhm to keep your life force and radiance strong, so you are more able and likely to show up as the calm, clear, grounded, radiant, powerful presence that is you.

  2. Pull On In the Moment : Use these in the moments you get triggered, pinched, swirled up, overwhelmed, full of emotion or feelings of anxiety or frustration. They will give you a  path to move through the trigger or wobble, and recenter. So you can respond vs. react to a situation or a person.

Tune into episode #210 - Keep Your Radiance Strong & Light  - 3 Practices to Play With and then try these three practices in your day to day. These are three practices I use in  my day to day too!

  1. Relax. Rest. Regenerate. The Daily & Weekly Bookend
  2. Eliminate & Release. Release & Embrace. Choose a time span to play with.

Did you know that the word "busy" means "meddlesome" and "interfering" and everytime we use phrases like, "I am so busy" or "I am too busy too,," we pushe away the exact connection or support we both need and desire during intense times. 

Or how putting up our busy badge is disempowering and isolating vs empowering and connecting? 

Or have you ever considered how you navigate intensity when you either actively engage in it or it unexpectedly find yourself standing the midst of it?

In the decade plus of my research for what became the book Overwhelmed and Over It, and is one of the root of my feminie leadership work is this:

Instensity is part of life. Intensity is not good or bad, although some kinds of intensity feels so much more empowering than others. It's what the tools we have for navigating within the intensity that make all the difference.

In your life, there will be times you choose intensity. And there will be times when the intensity happen to you - out of your control or desire.

Most of us have been woefully educated or prepared how to move - how to dance - through intensity. So we grind, strive, push through it, or find ourselves in the middle of puddle, or a confusion, anxiety, frustration, overwhelm storm within it.

Add to that how our overculture has made "being busy" a badge of honor and success. Or how we've been taught that working hard and realizing success means pushing through until the project is done or goal is reached, to the detriment of our own mind, body, spirit and emotional wellbeing is just how it is.  

And you can explain of what seems normal in our society is actually anything but.

There is a different way to be with the intense times in our lives - chosen or found, stretching or struggling - that empower us to move through it with grace, gumption and more support and connection.

Which is why I chose to call us together for this conversation and exploration of Feminine Power Time - #193 - Dancing Through Intensity: 5 Practices to Stay Sustained In Busy, Challenging, or High Output Times.

Are you clearing your emotional and energetic fields? What do you do when you get "gooped" by the world, a person, the news, the physical and virtual environments you find yourself in, or even by your own emotional triggers?

"Gooped" is my partner Noah and my term for what happens to us when we get emotionally, mentally, energetically, and physically weighed down, swirled up, affected by external forces. 

In the times we live in, it's really wise to ask yourself : What am I doing to keep my energy clear? 

Are my energetic and emotional boundaries strong? How do I know when they are weak? And how do I strengthen them?

Today, in part 3 of our 3 parts series called STAY LIGHT - how do we keep our life force strong, our minds clear, our emotions stable, our radiance bright in our current reality - individually and collectively - I invited in the person who often supports me to "de-goop"- my partner in life, love, business and service, Noah Martin.

The centerpoint of our exploration today is this:

"What does it mean to be gooped? How do you know you are gooped up? How does it happen? And what do you do in the moment or as prevention to keep the external forces from knocking you off kilter?"

Clearing your emotional and energetic fields is a must in our world today. Just like you brush your teeth and get in your steps. Or you get too much plaque and too much fat, which creates dis-ease.

Our exploration will take part in four sections:

1. Wisdom About Energy - What we need to know about our energetic connections and energy fields - and how they interact with other people and situations.

2. 5 Kinds of Boundaries - Emotional, Mental, Energetic, Physical and Environment. How to work with yours, know when your boundaries have been breached and how to re-find your center and clear your field.

3. Goop Prevention - what you can do proactively to not get gooped. 

4. Emergency Care & Culitivating Your Energetic Support Team and Structure - practices & modalities that can support you to clear your being , strenghten your internal system, and clear out energetic and emotional interference.

Preventative

1. Where do you continue to get gooped? Think relationships or situations or environments. Look at where this is happening:

  • Reveal it. 
  • Get Real with what keeps you stuck in the energy. 
  • Then Make Shifts and Changes or Set Yourself up so you can be in those situations without getting gooped. Reduce the energy that is creating the groping. 

2. Start your day connected & protected - with your daily morning practice, everyday (see Overwhelmed and Over It, Section 2 Liberate Your Life Force + Get the Daily Morning Flow Practice Kit)
